Correction: Apple introduced this on Feb 8th, I was a bit behind…

Apple introduced a 1GB iPod Nano today at a $150 price point. With a 4GB Nano costing only $250, are they going to get many buyers? I dont think so… It’s nice to see that they are offering iPods of all types and at many different price levels, but I think ultimately they are confusing consumers. I remember waiting on the iPod line during the holidays. They just had people point to the one they think they wanted, people didn’t even know all the differences. It was the employees who were trying to educate everyone on why each ipod is very different, yet still an ipod.
