OK, for everyone who thinks the Treo 700w is the “upgrade” to the Palm OS-based Treo 650, you can rest easy now that there is a Palm OS upgrade path with the Treo 700p. Treonauts has pics of the Sprint Treo 700p showing a tentative late May release date. Why does Sprint always get this stuff first? At this rate, the unlocked version will probably be out in July. And while we’re on that topic, why wasn’t their ever a “T-Mobile Branded” Treo? I can’t tell you how many sales T-Mobile has lost because people didn’t realize they have to purchase the unlocked GSM model directly from Palm. Maybe this generation of Treos will be different?
