
Now here is an example of why T-Mobile has the highest ranked customer service. Bear with me while I explain the situation. I have 3 phones on a family plan on T-Mobile. One of them is free of contracts, and the other two have a year left. I’m moving one of the contracted numbers to Sprint. I have no interest in canceling the account, but I do want to take my number. Before I call, I’m trying to think of ways to do this without triggering an Early Termination Fee. Possibly move contracts between lines, maybe swap numbers with Sprint, I dont know. I call them and tell the CSR flat out what I’m doing and why I’m trying to do this. I say, well honestly I’m moving this line to Sprint and I want to avoid paying an ETF ($200). She goes out of her way to outline all the steps I’d need to do so that I can avoid the fee and keep all my numbers. I was pleasantly surprised and I have my plan laid out in front me. When T-Mobile has their high speed network up and running, i’ll come running back!
